Ms. Welch’s practice focuses primarily on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and Defense Base Act (DBA).

Ms. Welch received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina in 2017. In 2020, Ms. Welch earned her Juris Doctor with honors from Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law. Before joining Brown Sims, Ms. Welch clerked for Administrative Law Judge Angela F. Donaldson in Covington, Louisiana.
